After receiving a master’s degree in acupuncture in Colorado, Michael moved back to Seattle to begin practicing. After several years of practice, he decided to come back to school, and is currently working on a dual degree in biology/microbiology at the University of Washington. Eventually, he hopes to have a medical practice that integrates Western and Eastern techniques. When he isn’t treating, volunteering, studying, or hunched over a lab bench, he enjoys yoga, martial arts, and travel. He commutes every day on a bicycle he has owned and maintained for 20 years, through a city he has moved back to on four separate occasions.
