Huy Pham - Student and Research Lab Volunteer (2012-2013) - Huy worked on Propionibacterium acnes and biofilm assays. He then took at job at Pacific Biomarkers where he worked for 2.5 years. He is curently pursuing a Computer Science degree.

Vu Chu - Sr. Bioinformatics Developer - 2001-2010. Vu worked as a programmer in the lab and then decided his passion was in design and engineering. He is currently on a sabbatical from his job at Jacob Jensen Design A/S.

Tina Montgomery - Grant Administrator (2006-2007). Tina worked intial in Roger’s group helping with grants and conferences. She then was scooped up by the Department of Microbiology where she served for many years as a grants administrator for the entire department. She is currently the adminstrator for the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington.
Lisa Caprina - Administrative Assistance (2005-2006) Lisa is another administrative assistant who was initially hired in the Bumgarner lab but who went on to manage a University Department. She is currently the administrator of the Department of Microbiology at the University of Washington.
